Set In Stone, By Monet Haley
Artist Description:
Upon Receiving the vase, I began to think about the many lives it has lived. I imagined the flowers that lay inside of it and the times that it was left unused, stored in a cabinet collecting dust. Because the object itself had a sense of immortality, I was inspired to make a scene of its existence everlasting, like a 3D image or an old home movie.
